§ 20-24-1-7 — "Organizer"
"Organizer" means an entity that:
(1)is a nonprofit corporation that is incorporated or registered in
Indiana;
(2)has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service to be tax
exempt and maintains such tax exempt status; and
(3)has an independent board whose members have been elected
or selected under the organizer's application and that has entered
into a contract under this article to operate a charter school.
