5. "Authorizer" means, for a charter school, one (1) of the following:

(1)Subject to IC 20-24-2.2-1.2, a governing body.
(2)A state educational institution that offers a four (4) year baccalaureate degree.
(3)The executive (as defined in IC 36-1-2-5) of a consolidated city.
(4)The charter board.
(5)Subject to IC 20-24-2.2-1.2, a governing board of a nonprofit college or university that provides a four (4) year educational program for which it awards a baccalaureate or more advanced degree, including the following: Anderson University Bethel University Butler University Calumet College of St. Joseph DePauw University Earlham College Franklin College Goshen College Grace College Hanover College Holy Cross College Huntington University Indiana Tech Indiana Wesleyan University Manchester
