§ 20-23-7-3 — Metropolitan school district; duties

Indiana·Title 20 EDUCATION·Art. 23 ORGANIZATION OF SCHOOL CORPORATIONS·Ch. 7 Consolidation of County School Corporations and

(a)The metropolitan school district shall conduct the educational activities of all the schools in the district in compliance with:

(1)state law; and

(2)the laws of the state of Indiana with reference to public education.

(b)The control and administration of the schools of the metropolitan school district are vested in a governing body whose:

(1)composition;

(2)duties;

(3)manner of election; and
