Text
(a)To defray the expenses of the county
study, a county committee may prepare and submit a budgetary request
to the county council on or before August 1 of each year during the life
of the committee. The county council may, upon receipt of a request,
establish a uniform ad valorem tax levy on all real and personal
property within the county, in an amount sufficient to raise an amount
of money not to exceed the amount of the budget request.
(b)The county committee may request from the county council
sufficient sums of money necessary to defray legal expenses incident
to placing the county plan in operation.
