If the Ball State University board of trustees
adopts a resolution to take advantage of the relationship between Ball
State University and the Muncie Community school corporation and be
governed by this chapter, the distressed unit appeal board shall
terminate Muncie Community school corporation's designation as a
distressed political subdivision by July 1, 2018.
