Text

(a)In a community school corporation established under IC 20-23-4 that has a population of more than seventy-five thousand (75,000) and less than seventy-nine thousand (79,000), the governing body consists of a board of trustees of five (5) members elected in the manner provided in this chapter.
(b)The governing body members shall be elected at the times provided and shall succeed the retiring members in the order and manner as set forth in this chapter.
(c)The term of each person elected to serve on the governing body begins on the date set in the school corporation's organization plan. The date set in the organization plan for an elected member of the governing body to take office may not be more than fourteen (14) months after the date of the member's election.
