Text
(a)A placement review committee for the
school is established. The placement review committee consists of one
(1)representative of each of the following:
(1)The board.
(2)The office of the secretary of family and social services.
(3)The secretary of education.
(b)The placement review committee shall meet upon petition of an
interested party to review the following:
(1)Applications to the school denied through the process
described in section 6 of this chapter.
(2)All instances of dismissal from the school for reasons other
than graduation, voluntary transition to another educational
facility, or voluntary departure from the school.
(c)The executive shall serve as an adviser to the placement review
committee. The executive shall provide the placement review
