Text

(a)At the board's last meeting before July 1 of each year, the board shall elect one (1) member to be chair of the board.
(b)The member elected chair of the board serves as chair beginning July 1 after elected by the board.
(c)The board may reelect a member as chair of the board.
(d)The board shall annually elect one (1) of its members to serve as the secretary for the board.
(e)The board shall meet at the call of the chair of the board at least five (5) times during each school year. [Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-15-3-6.]
