§ 20-20-1-8 — Membership of board; vacancies; compensation

(a)The state board shall adopt uniform rules
to provide for the local selection, appointment, and continuity of
membership for boards.
(b)Vacancies on a board shall be filled by appointment by the
remaining members of the board.
(c)Members of a board serve without compensation.
