§ 20-19-3-24 — Evidence based and trauma informed informational material; classroom behavioral management strategies best practices and guidelines; notice
(a)The department shall make:
(1)informational material that is evidence based and trauma
informed in accordance with IC 20-28-3-11; and
(2)a list of best practices and guidelines regarding classroom
behavioral management strategies;
available on the department's website.
(b)Not later than January 1 of each year, the department shall
provide a notice to each school corporation and charter school on how
to access the information maintained on the department's website under
subsection (a). The notice shall indicate that the school corporation or
charter school may, and is encouraged to, distribute the informational
material, list, and guidelines to the school corporation's or charter
school's employees in a manner prescribed by the school corporation
or charter school.
