§ 14-8-2-72 — "District"
"District" has the following meaning:
(1)For purposes of IC 14-27-8, the meaning set forth in IC 14-27-8-2.
(2)For purposes of IC 14-32, the term refers to a soil and water
conservation district that was:
(A)organized under IC 13-3-1 (before its repeal) or IC 14-32-3
(before its repeal); or
(B)reestablished under IC 14-32-6.5 to incorporate additional
territory.
(3)For purposes of IC 14-33, a conservancy district established
under or accepting:
(A)IC 13-3-3 (before its repeal);
(B)IC 14-33; or
(C)IC 19-3-2 (before its repeal on April 1, 1980), including a
conservancy district established before April 20, 1956, for any
purpose provided in IC 14-33-1-1.
