§ 14-8-2-290 — "United States"

Indiana·Art. 8 GENERAL PROVISIONS AND DEFINITIONS·Ch. 2 Definitions

"United States" has the following meaning:

(1)For purposes of IC 14-28-1 and IC 14-28-3, the following:

(A)The United States government.

(B)An agency, an officer, a board, a bureau, a commission, a department, a division, or an instrumentality of the United States.

(2)For purposes of IC 14-32, the following:

(A)The United States.

(B)The Natural Resources Conservation Service of the United States Department of Agriculture.

(C)Any other agency or instrumentality, corporate or otherwise, of the United States. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citations: subdivision (1) formerly 13-2-22-3(22); subdivision (2) formerly 13-3-1-3(8).]
