§ 14-8-2-104 — "Freeholder"

Indiana·Art. 8 GENERAL PROVISIONS AND DEFINITIONS·Ch. 2 Definitions

"Freeholder", for purposes of IC 14-33, means a person who holds land:

(1)in fee;
(2)for life; or
(3)for some indeterminate period of time; whether or not in joint title with at least one (1) other person. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citations: 13-3-3-1 part; 13-3-4-1(a) part; 13-3-5-1(a) part; 13-3-6-2(a) part.]
