Text
(a)An owner or operator who fails to
comply with section 6, 10, or 11 of this chapter commits a Class C
infraction.
(b)The department may assess a civil penalty of not more than ten
thousand dollars ($10,000) against an owner or operator who
knowingly fails to comply with section 6, 10, or 11 of this chapter.
(c)A civil penalty assessed under this section shall be deposited in
the oil and gas environmental fund established by IC 14-37-10-2.
