Text

(a)Notwithstanding section 1(b) of this chapter, if the amount in the oil and gas environmental fund established by IC 14-37-10-2 is more than one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) on November 1 of a year, the annual fee required by section 1 of this chapter must be reduced by seventy-five percent (75%). However, the department shall charge a fee of at least fifty dollars ($50).
(b)The fee required under subsection (a) remains in effect until the amount in the oil and gas environmental fund is less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) on November 1 of a year. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 13-8-6-2.]
