§ 14-37-3-10 — Regulation of inactive underground coal mines
The commission shall regulate, under IC 14-37-7, the drilling, deepening, operating, plugging, and abandoning
of wells for oil and gas purposes on land underlaid by workings of an
inactive underground coal mine within the permit boundaries of an
active underground mine permitted under IC 14-34 or through a
commercially minable coal resource.
