§ 14-34-9-3 — Rules

Indiana·Art. 34 SURFACE COAL MINING AND RECLAMATION·Ch. 9 Coal Exploration

The commission shall adopt rules to do the following:

(1)Establish a procedure for application for permission to conduct a coal exploration operation.
(2)Establish guidelines for granting or denying the application.
(3)Require that the applicant comply with the requirements of IC 14-34-10 and IC 14-34-12 for all land disturbed. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 13-4.1-7-3.]
