§ 14-33-2-19 — Commission's hearings to determine facts

(a)In determining the facts, the commission shall hold hearings at which the commission shall give any interested person the right to be heard. At the request of an interested person, the commission shall hold hearings at the county seat of a county containing land in the proposed district. The commission shall choose the county seat.
(b)The commission shall give notice of the hearings by publication at least one (1) time in one (1) newspaper of general circulation in each county containing land in the proposed district. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 13-3-3-23.]
