Text
(a)A court in which a petition is filed shall
order the proceedings transferred to the court having jurisdiction under
section 9 of this chapter if:
(1)the petition was filed in the wrong court by mistake; or
(2)the petition is amended so that another county has more land
in the proposed district.
(b)The court that establishes a district retains jurisdiction over the
district regardless of a change in area of the district that results from
later proceedings.
