Text
(a)The voting members of the board of a
watershed development commission shall elect the following officers:
(1)A chair.
(2)A vice chair.
(3)A secretary-treasurer.
(b)When one (1) or more additional counties that are entitled to
representation on the board of a watershed development commission
under IC 14-30.5-2-7(b) or IC 14-30.5-2-7(c) become members of the
commission, the offices referred to in subsection (a) become vacant
and the members of the board shall elect new officers under subsection
(a).
(c)The term of an individual elected to an office under subsection
(a)may not exceed one (1) year, but the individual is eligible for
reelection.
(d)An individual elected to an office under subsection (a) shall
perform the duties usually pertaining to the office.
