§ 14-28-1-16 — Promotion of local efforts; cooperation with individuals and agencies
Indiana·Art. 28 FLOOD CONTROL
The commission shall do the following:
(1)Encourage and promote local initiative and effort in providing
flood control and in the development of water resources, subject
to the regulation and control provided by law.
(2)Cooperate with, advise, disseminate information to, and assist
any person or state agency in matters relating to flood control and
the development of water resources, including flood plain
regulations or controls.
