§ 14-27-6-43 — Treasurer; appointment, powers, and duties
(a)The board shall appoint a person to act
as treasurer of the authority. The treasurer shall give bond in the
amount and with the condition that the board prescribes and with surety
to the approval of the board. The treasurer shall be appointed to serve
for a term of one (1) year unless removed for cause.
(b)All money payable to the authority shall be paid to the treasurer,
and the treasurer shall deposit the money in accordance with the
statutes relating to the deposit of public money by municipal
corporations. The treasurer shall keep an accurate account of the
following:
(1)All appropriations made and all taxes levied by the authority.
(2)All money owing or due to the authority.
(3)All money received and disbursed.
