Text
(a)Not:
(1)more than seven (7) days after the introduction of a proposed
draft of an ordinance; and
(2)less than seven (7) days before the final passage of a proposed
draft of an ordinance;
the board shall publish a notice that the proposed ordinance is pending
final action by the board. The notice shall be published one (1) time in
each of two (2) daily newspapers that have a general circulation in the
district. Notice of an ordinance establishing a budget must be in
accordance with the general law relating to budgets of cities.
(b)The board shall do the following:
(1)Include in the notice the following:
(A)Reference to the subject matter of the proposed ordinance.
(B)The time and place a hearing will be held on the proposed
ordinance.
(C)A statement that the proposed draft of an
