Text
(a)Except as provided in subsection (b), the
first members of the board shall be appointed as follows:
(1)One (1) member for the term of one (1) year.
(2)One (1) member for the term of two (2) years.
(3)One (1) member for the term of three (3) years.
(b)If the board consists of members appointed from both the city
and the county:
(1)the city executive shall appoint members for original terms of
one (1) and two (2) years; and
(2)the board of commissioners of the county shall appoint a
member for a term of three (3) years.
