§ 14-26-8-7 — Docketing of petition; notice of hearing

Indiana·Art. 26 LAKES AND RESERVOIRS·Ch. 8 Lakes; Changes in Levels
(a)Within ten (10) days after the filing of a petition, the clerk shall docket the petition as a cause of action pending in the circuit or superior court. The clerk shall cause notice to be given at least thirty (30) days before the date set for the hearing as follows:
(1)By publication one (1) time each week for two (2) consecutive weeks:
(A)with each publication:
(i)in not less than two (2) newspapers of general circulation published in each county in which the lake is located; or
(ii)if there are not two (2) newspapers of general circulation published in a county, in one (1) newspaper of general circulation published in the county; or
(B)with the first publication of notice in a newspaper or newspapers described in clause (A) and the second publication of notice:
