§ 14-26-8-45 — Surveyor; traveling expenses; compensation; bond
(a)If the surveyor or the surveyor's deputy
uses a car owned by the surveyor or the deputy or a hired conveyance
in carrying out the improvement petitioned for under this chapter, the
surveyor or deputy may include traveling expenses incident to the work
at an amount for mileage at a rate determined by the county fiscal body.
(b)The surveyor and the surveyor's deputy:
(1)are not entitled to receive compensation for services in
addition to the statutory salary except for expenses as provided in
section 44 of this chapter; and
(2)are not required to give any additional bond other than the
official bond.
