Text

A person may not locate, dig, make, dredge, or in any way construct a ditch or drain having a bottom depth lower than the level of a freshwater lake as established by law within one-half (1/2) mile of any point on the line of the lake unless a dam has been provided for and constructed to adequately protect the water level of each lake likely to be affected.
