§ 14-25-17-6 — Permit application; required information; filing fee
A notable user may submit an application for a transfer permit to the department. An application must contain the following:
(1)The beneficial use (as defined in IC 14-25-7-2), purpose, and
necessity of the proposed transfer.
(2)The volume of the proposed transfer.
(3)The location of all withdrawal, return, and transfer points
related to the proposed transfer.
(4)The volume of water that will be returned to the basin in
connection with the proposed transfer.
(5)The peak capacity of each transfer facility that would be
involved in the proposed transfer, including evidence supporting
the peak capacity.
(6)An assessment of the hydraulic and environmental impact of
the proposed transfer on the basin.
(7)A feasibility assessment that considers whether alternate water
sources not subject
