§ 14-23-6-2 — Duties of state forester

Indiana·Art. 23 FORESTRY·Ch. 6 Volunteer Forest Firefighters

The state forester shall do the following:

(1)Direct the Indiana volunteer forest firefighters service.
(2)Recommend to the commission rules for the service.
(3)Provide education and training for the service.
(4)Use the service in times of emergency due to fire. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 14-5-6-2.]
