Text

In fighting fires under this chapter, the officers and employees of the department have the following:

(1)All the rights and immunities guaranteed to municipal firefighters by law.
(2)The right to enter upon the land of an individual, a firm, a limited liability company, a corporation, a municipal corporation, a city, a town, a county, or the state to carry out their duties.
(3)The authority to set back fires, dig trenches, cut lanes, and use all other customary and accepted modern methods of firefighting on private land. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 14-5-5-2.]
