Text
(a)As used in this section, "motorboat"
means a watercraft propelled by:
(1)an internal combustion, steam, or electrical inboard or
outboard motor or engine; or
(2)any mechanical means.
The term does not include a personal watercraft.
(b)The director shall establish and implement a demonstration
program for the purpose of containing and reducing invasive animal
species in the Wabash River. In administering this program, the
director may do any of the following:
(1)Allow the taking of a specific invasive animal species by a
means described in section 1(a)(2) of this chapter.
(2)Require the use of ammunition described in 50 CFR 20.21(j).
(3)Require a hunting or fishing license under IC 14-22-12-1.
(4)Allow the taking of a specific invasive animal species to be
taken from a motorboat.
