Text
(a)The game bird habitat restoration fund is
established as a dedicated fund.
(b)The department shall administer the fund. The director may
expend the money in the fund exclusively for the purpose of restoring
the habitat of the various game birds in Indiana.
(c)The proceeds from the sale of stamps shall be deposited in and
transferred from the fish and wildlife fund to the fund. However, a
transfer is not required if the budget agency finds that it would reduce
the balance in the fish and wildlife fund to less than three million
dollars ($3,000,000) at the end of the state fiscal year.
(d)Money in the fund does not revert to the state general fund at the
end of a state fiscal year. If the fund is abolished, the contents revert to
the fish and wildlife fund.
