§ 14-22-34-9 — Unlawful taking or possession of nongame species

Indiana·Art. 22 FISH AND WILDLIFE·Ch. 34 Nongame and Endangered Species Conservation

Except as provided in rules adopted by the director:

(1)a person may not take, possess, transport, export, process, sell, or offer for sale or shipment nongame species considered by the director to be in need of management under this section; and
(2)a common or contract carrier may not knowingly transport or receive for shipment nongame species considered by the director to be in need of management under this section. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 14-2-8.5-4.]
