Text
The lake and river enhancement fund is established and allocated for the following purposes:
(1)Fifty percent (50%) of the fund shall be used to pay costs
incurred by the department in implementing the lake and river
enhancement projects.
(2)Fifty percent (50%) of the fund shall be used by the
department to pay for lake or river (as defined in IC 14-32-7-12)
projects, including, but not limited to, projects to:
(A)remove sediment;
(B)control exotic or invasive plants or animals; or
(C)remove logjams or obstructions.
For purposes of this subdivision, the fund may not be used for
projects relating to a ditch or manmade channel.
