Text

(a)A license issued under this chapter authorizes the possession or sale of nonmigratory game birds or wild animals. An individual who:
(1)acquires a wild animal alive, legally in open season; or
(2)purchases the game bird or wild animal from a licensed game breeder; may apply for a breeder's license within five (5) days after acquiring the animal from the licensed game breeder or within five (5) days after the last day of the open season for the animal.
(b)The commission shall adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 to implement this section. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 14-2-7-8(2).]
