§ 14-20-7-2 — Department to maintain buildings and grounds as historical monuments

The department shall maintain the buildings
and grounds as a historical monument with emphasis on the early
history of the Indiana Veterans' Home when the home was founded by
the Grand Army of the Republic as a home for Civil War veterans.
