Text
(a)The authority may do the following:
(1)Acquire:
(A)real or personal property; or
(B)funding;
by grant, gift, devise, or bequest and to hold, use, or dispose of
property or funding acquired by the authority for the purposes
authorized by this article.
(2)Maintain:
(A)shops;
(B)restaurants;
(C)concessions; and
(D)any other recreational facilities;
on properties owned or operated by the department.
(3)Contract with, or employ, persons to manage operations and
facilities.
(4)Produce or sell souvenirs and other merchandise.
(5)Pay royalties, license fees, or charges for exhibits, artifacts,
artwork, or materials.
(6)Own copyrights, trademarks, and service marks and enforce
the rights with respect to ownership.
(b)The authority is authorized to receive and expend funds, grants,
