§ 14-16-1-1 — Legislative intent

Indiana·Art. 16 REGULATION OF LAND RECREATION·Ch. 1 Off-Road Vehicles

It is the general intent and purpose of the general assembly in enacting this chapter to promote:

(1)safety for persons and property;
(2)responsible enjoyment in and connected with the use and operation of off-road vehicles and snowmobiles; and
(3)understanding consistent with the rights of all the citizens of Indiana. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 14-1-3-16(c).]
