Text
(a)The commission consists of the following
individuals:
(1)The director of the department of natural resources, or the
director's designee, who is a voting member.
(2)One (1) representative appointed by the county executive of
each county in the basin in Indiana, who is a voting member.
(b)The county executive of each county in the basin in Indiana shall
appoint a member to represent the county before September 1, 2019.
If a county executive fails to make the appointment before September
1, 2019, the county surveyor of that county shall assume the position
on September 1, 2019, and serve the term of office prescribed by
section 12 of this chapter.
(c)A member appointed under subsection (a)(2) must reside in the
Indiana county within the basin for which the member is appointed.
