Text

(a)This section applies to a marina located in a county having a population of more than four hundred thousand (400,000) and less than seven hundred thousand (700,000).
(b)The state may not give money or other consideration to a marina unless the marina fulfills the following conditions:
(1)Provides a boat ramp without charge for access by Indiana residents to the waters served by the marina.
(2)Provides access to marina property without charge for fishing by Indiana residents in the waters served by the marina.
(3)Dedicates at least eight percent (8%) of the total number of parking spaces at the marina for parking of vehicles, including boat trailers, by Indiana residents without charge. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 14-3-14-1.]
