Text
(a)The governor shall appoint an executive
director for the commission.
(b)The executive director serves as the chief administrative officer
of the commission.
(c)The executive director shall implement the policies of the
commission.
(d)The commission may delegate any of the commission's powers
to the executive director.
(e)The executive director may:
(1)hire and terminate commission staff; and
(2)exercise supervisory duties with respect to the staff of the
commission.
