Text
To be eligible to receive a grant for a project involving a community park or recreation area, the following conditions must be met in addition to those set forth in section 8 of this chapter:
(1)The applicant must be a municipal corporation.
(2)The grant must be used to acquire, develop, or renovate a
community park or recreation area.
(3)The community park or recreation area must be on land owned
or controlled by the municipal corporation.
(4)The community park or recreation area must be operated and
maintained for public recreation.
(5)The applicant must demonstrate the ability of the municipal
corporation to operate and maintain the community park or
recreation area after completion.
(6)The applicant must demonstrate that the project will be
compatible with existing site conditio
