Text
The division may employ a dementia care coordinator to do the following:
(1)Coordinate implementation of the dementia strategic plan.
(2)Regarding the dementia care specialist program established
under IC 12-10-5.7, do the following:
(A)Develop or identify best practice guidelines concerning the
establishment and administration of a dementia care specialist
program in accordance with IC 12-10-5.7.
(B)Establish training requirements necessary for staff working
in a dementia care specialist program.
(C)Disseminate guidelines and training requirements described
in clauses (A) and (B) to each area agency.
(D)Provide resources and technical assistance to an area
agency or dementia care specialist designated by an area agency
under IC 12-10-5.7.
