§ 12-8-12-6 — Powers of director
The director may do the following:
(1)Establish criteria for a request for proposals to stimulate
public-private partnerships to promote employment opportunities
for TANF recipients and applicants under this chapter.
(2)Establish sanctions, including the termination of TANF
assistance, for a TANF recipient or applicant who refuses to
participate in an employment or a job training opportunity offered
to TANF recipients or applicants under this chapter.
(3)Establish a procedure to set priorities for the entry of
recipients or applicants into job placement and training.
