Text

1.

(a)Subject to an approved state plan amendment or waiver under subsection (b), the office of the secretary shall, immediately upon request by the department of child services, provide to the department of child services address information that is maintained by the office of the secretary and that is necessary for the department of child services to:
(1)respond to a report of suspected child abuse or neglect under IC 31-33; or
(2)take action concerning a child with regard to whom exigent circumstances (as defined by IC 31-9-2-44.1) exist.
(b)The office of the secretary shall apply for any state plan amendment or waiver necessary to implement this section.
