Text
"Psychiatric hospital", for purposes of section 82 of this chapter, means any of the following:
(1)A state institution.
(2)A general hospital:
(A)licensed by the Indiana department of health; and
(B)that maintains and operates facilities for the observation,
care, treatment, and detention of individuals who have a mental
illness.
(3)A private psychiatric hospital licensed by the division of
mental health and addiction.
