§ 12-7-2-138 — "Physician"

Indiana·Art. 7 GENERAL PROVISIONS AND DEFINITIONS·Ch. 2 Definitions

"Physician" means the following:

(1)For purposes of IC 12-10-17.1 and IC 12-15-35, an individual who is licensed to practice medicine in Indiana under IC 25-22.5.
(2)For purposes of IC 12-26, either of the following:
(A)An individual who holds a license to practice medicine under IC 25-22.5.
(B)A medical officer of the United States government who is in Indiana performing the officer's official duties. [Pre-1992 Revision Citation: 16-14-9.1-1(k).]
