§ 12-30-1-7 — Delegation of duties; contract for services; action not constituting discontinuance
(a)The board of commissioners of a county
may:
(1)delegate the performance of the board's duties under this
article; and
(2)contract for the services reasonably required to operate and
maintain the county home, including the management of the
county home;
on terms and conditions the board finds reasonable and in the best
interests of the county.
(b)Any action taken by the board of commissioners of a county
under this section does not constitute a discontinuance under section
6 of this chapter as long as the board's actions under this section do not
limit the ultimate authority of the board of commissioners over the
county home.
