Text
The boards of commissioners of at least two (2) counties may, by joint action, do the following:
(1)Purchase a tract of real property.
(2)Erect, organize, and operate a county home for the indigent of
the counties on the real property.
(3)Continue the joint ownership and operation of the county
home as the boards of commissioners desire.
(4)Do other things proper and necessary for the relief and
comfort of the indigent within the counties forming the joint
ownership that an individual county may do under this chapter.
