Text
The board of commissioners of a county may do the following:
(1)Purchase a tract of real property in the name of the county.
(2)Build, establish, and organize a county home for the indigent
on the tract of real property.
(3)Employ a humane and responsible individual who resides in
the county, upon the terms and under the restrictions the board of
commissioners considers most advantageous to the interests of the
county, to take charge of the county home as superintendent.
